Jackie Roman is a photographer specializing in Music Reportage and Editorial Portraiture.  She photographs the movers and shakers of independent music scenes who are creating the new variants of post-, -punk, garage- and -rock.  A regular contributor at Spin.com, her images have been featured in Spin Magazine, Impose Magazine, Playgirl Magazine, The Village Voice, The New York Press,  New York Magazine and Denimzine (Sweden). She lives in Brooklyn, NY, USA.
