Freshkills @ Freshkills

On August 28th, 2008 I attended a private tour of Fresh Kills Park (the landfill in Staten Island) with Freshkills (the band from Brooklyn). They were invited by the outreach team, who happen to be big fans. My favorite part, aside from seeing these guys in broad daylight before noon, was the merch swap. we got to take home freshkills coffee mugs! if you would like to know more about whats happening at the former landfill, you can visit the Fresh Kills Park website.
